About this Blog

What is this blog all about?  Simply, it's a site for do it yourself home improvement and decorating that humorously documents the journey and offers how to's and tips for anyone who may be interested in listening to them!  

I would say as an artist one of my favorite ways to express myself is through my decorating.  Ever since I can remember I have loved to gussy things up.  After my husband and I bought our first house I thought it would be a fun new adventure to blog about my decorating journey.  

Don't be alarmed.  I am one of those people who will not smile in a photo.  This was taken on my wedding day.
